Reigning European champions Real Madrid reached their third successive Champions League final as they edged out Bayern Munich 2-1 on Wednesday.
Two goals from Karim Benzema either side of halftime proved enough to secure the victory for Real, who will now face Liverpool in the final in Kiev on May 26.
Bayern had taken the lead through Joshua Kimmich in the 28th minute, but Benzema equalized just before the break and then put Real ahead for good in the 54th.
The German champions gave it their all in the second half, but they were unable to find a way past a resolute Real defense.
Real's victory was their 13th in the Champions League, extending their record as the most successful club in the competition's history.
