The Dallas Stars have taken a 2-1 lead in their Western Conference Semifinal series against the Colorado Avalanche, winning Game 3 in Denver by a score of 5-3.
The Stars were led by Roope Hintz, who scored two goals, including the game-winner in the third period. Jason Robertson and Joe Pavelski also scored for Dallas, while Jake Oettinger made 35 saves in the victory.
The Avalanche got goals from Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog, and Valeri Nichushkin, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Stars' offensive firepower.
Game 4 of the series is scheduled for Tuesday night in Denver. The NHL has announced that the start time for the game has been set for 9:00 p.m. ET.
