Jeddah, Saudi Arabia - In a thrilling and historic heavyweight showdown, Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine emerged victorious over Tyson Fury of the United Kingdom, capturing all four major belts and becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
The bout, held at the King Abdullah Sports City, saw Usyk control the pace and outmaneuver Fury with his superior agility and precision. Despite relentless pressure from the larger Fury, Usyk's elusive footwork and exceptional technique proved too much to overcome.
After 12 grueling rounds, the judges delivered a split decision that awarded the victory to Usyk. The official scores were 115-112, 113-114, and 114-113 in favor of the Ukrainian.
With this victory, Usyk becomes the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999. He now holds the WBA, IBF, WBO, and WBC titles, making him the supreme ruler of the heavyweight division.
