Hamilton takes the chequered flag ahead of Vettel and Bottas

Hamilton dominates Canadian race to claim seventh win of the season.

Canadian Grand Prix: Lewis Hamilton has won the 2019 Canadian Grand Prix, ahead of Sebastian Vettel and Valtteri Bottas, to claim his seventh win of the season.

The Mercedes driver started second but took the lead on the first lap and controlled the race from there, leading every lap and setting the fastest lap of the race.

It was a second win in a row for Hamilton, and his third at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, and moves him 29 points clear of Bottas at the top of the Formula One driver standings.

Vettel was second best for Ferrari, ahead of Bottas in the second Mercedes, while Max Verstappen finished fourth for Red Bull, less than a second behind Bottas.
